The industrial grade Handheld Digital Flow Meter & Probe by Virtual Hydromet is a versatile, multi purpose instrument engineered to deliver highly accurate fluid flow and air velocity measurements under challenging field conditions. Designed for liquid and gaseous mediums, the complete kit features an adjustable 1.2 m aluminum telescoping rod with a 2 m cable, a rugged handheld display, and two interchangeable impellers: a 60 mm water impeller measuring velocities from 0.1 m/s to 10 m/s, and a 20 mm air impeller tracking wind speeds from 1 m/s to 30 m/s with an exceptional accuracy of plus or minus 2% Full Scale. Data can be viewed across multiple units including knots, km/h, mph, m/s, fps, and cm/s, while an integrated temperature sensor tracks ambient and felt temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit with a precision of plus or minus 0.2 degrees Celsius. Operating on 2 standard AA batteries for up to 10 hours, this highly sensitive device also supports an optional 15 meter cable for elevated sampling from bridges, making it an indispensable asset for hydrological studies, river discharge mapping, irrigation canal management, and meteorological monitoring.
