Product Description
Virtual make Digital Water Level Recorder (Float type) reflect state of the art in micro controller based instrumentation design. The Shaft encoder type water level sensor attached with this data logger for the collection of real time data automatically. The micro controller has its internal memory along with, a real time clock with an LCD (16 X 2) to display the instrument status. Comes with standard range 10 meters. Data file is saved in Microsofts Excel. A durable hard enclosure protects the data logger from weathering. This instrument is used for ground / wells water level monitoring. This instrument can also be used for Open channel, Dam and Lake level monitoring
Robust Design for Water Level MeasurementBuilt with a durable GI Mast and a hard weather-resistant enclosure, the Digital Water Level Recorder is designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. Whether monitoring reservoirs or open channels, its float-type mechanism ensures accurate and stable level readings needed for irrigation or research applications.
Flexible Operation & Data ManagementThis device simplifies level monitoring with automatic operation and straightforward programming through a $42$ membrane keypad. With a memory capacity that stores over 16,000 data points, it enables long-term, uninterrupted recording, essential for hydrological studies and groundwater management.
Versatile Power OptionsLeveraging a 12V SMF battery, the recorder offers versatile charging options: solar panels (10W, 20W, or 40W) or a 220V AC supply. This ensures continuous functionality in remote locations, supporting groundwater monitoring and data reliability even during power outages.
FAQ's of Digital Water Level Recorder (Float Type):
Q: How does the float-type Digital Water Level Recorder measure water levels?
A: The recorder uses a float mechanism to track changes in the water surface. As the water level rises or falls, the float moves accordingly, and these mechanical changes are translated into digital data for accurate monitoring.
Q: What are the main applications of this water level recorder?
A: This instrument is primarily used in groundwater monitoring, irrigation systems, open channels, dams, and lakes, making it valuable for hydrological research, agricultural water management, and environmental studies.
Q: Where can I install the Digital Water Level Recorder?
A: You can install the recorder at wells, open channels, reservoirs, dams, and lakes. Its robust build and weather-resistant enclosure make it ideal for various outdoor environments.
Q: What is the process for programming the device on-site?
A: Programming is accomplished using the integrated $42$ membrane keypad. You can set logging intervals, calibration, and other operating parameters easily and directly at the installation site.
Q: What power options are available for operating the recorder?
A: The device operates on a 12V SMF battery and supports optional charging from 10W, 20W, or 40W solar panels or 220V AC power, providing flexibility for both remote and permanent installations.
Q: How does the recorder benefit groundwater monitoring and research?
A: With a high-capacity memory and reliable, automatic measurements, the recorder offers continuous and precise data essential for effective water resource management and hydrological assessments.
